Another Spalted Curly Rock Maple and matching stabilized fingeboard set, cut from the same long! |
Nice "Wild Maple" set, which has some quilt, flame, and burl figuring in it |
Birdseye Zebrawood, I have the matching headstock overlay piece |
A nice Crotch Cherry set |
Same Crotch Cherry set, just looking at it from the other end |
Flamed Walnut set with nice colors |
Crotch Walnut set 1 |
Crotch Walnut set 2 |
Nice set of Buckeye Burl! |
Another beautiful set of Spalted Maple! |
Dark Spalted Maple I had two matching sets of these and already built a bass with one of them, so here is what it would look like on a finished bass!
|
Nice Flamed Maple set. Not quite long enough to completely cover the top of my basses, so I will have to offset it a bit as pictured
|
Flamed Oak, great colors! Still need to resaw it in half for a bookmatched set |
Very rare Lacewood Burl set! |
Beautiful Leopard wood set, also need to resaw it in half for a bookmatched set |
Very nice Quilted Maple Set |
Beautiful Spalted Beech, I love the freckles in it! |
Another gorgeous Spalted Beech set. Not quite wide enough to cover the entire top of the bass, so the neck would have to show through, although it is long enough for two sets!
|
Spalted Beech set #2, viewed from the other end |
Spalted Curly Rock Maple and matching stabilized fingerboard set 1 |
A nice set of Buckeye Burl |
Buckeye Burl set 3 This set is not wide enough to cover the entire top of the bass, so the neck would either have to show through. It did come with a third piece, so I could cover the neck with a third piece for a 3 piece top |
Buckeye Burl set 3. This set came with 3 pieces, so this is an alternate set if less bark inclusions are desired. |
