Flamed Walnut top for a nice Elrick

Face lift for a favorite bass! Danny loves this Elrick but wanted to dress it up a bit. So, I'm shaving 1/4" off the top and putting on a beautiful bookmatched flamed walnut top with a nice bloodwood accent layer.

Status and Updates

03 July - Top is on, body is sanded, re-routed and first coat of the oil finish is on.

Bass Completed and shipped out - I really enjoy this type of custom work, and I feel like the Bloodwood accent layer just sets the new flamed walnut topset off against the swamp ash body.
